Kirk Academy is a K-3 through 12th grade private school that offers a Christian-based, college preparatory education. Kirk, who donated the original thirty acres of land. Over the years, the campus has expanded to 65 acres, which include a preschool and elementary building, a high school building, the A.R. Smithers Library, a gymnasium, two practice football fields, a football stadium, softball co
mplex, baseball complex, and an outdoor classroom with nature trail. Kirk Academy, with a long tradition of academic and athletic excellence, has been educating the youth of Central Mississippi for over forty years. Kirk Academy is fully accredited by both MAIS (Mississippi Association of Independent School) and SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).
