Back to school is here, and so is our best offer of the year.
Enroll your child at The Tutoring Center® of Greer by October 1 and receive 20% off your first full month of tuition.
Here is how it works. Every family starts with a free Diagnostic Assessment. It takes 45 to 60 minutes and uses the Woodcock-Johnson V, the same achievement test schools and psychologists rely on. Your child is not being graded and cannot fail it. You walk out with a clear, skill-by-skill report in Reading, Math, and Writing showing exactly where your child is strong, where the gaps are, and what closing them actually takes.
From there, your child works with a dedicated instructor in true One-To-One Instruction. Never a small group. Never a classroom. Using the Rotational Approach to Learning®, each session rotates through three stations, which keeps concentration sharp and makes the hour fly by. Students improve on average one full grade level in approximately 40 sessions.
No contracts, ever. No homework from us.
The Diagnostic Assessment is always free. The 20% is only for families who get started by October 1st.

What actually happens during a Diagnostic Assessment?
Parents ask this a lot, usually because they're picturing something more intimidating than it is. So here's the honest walkthrough.
Your child cannot fail it.
There is no grade, no pass mark, and no result that goes on a school record. It isn't a judgment on your child, and we don't frame it that way to them. It's a measurement, the same way a doctor measures height before saying anything about growth.
It takes 45 to 60 minutes.
We use the Woodcock-Johnson V, the premier achievement test in the industry, to evaluate Reading, Math, and Writing skill by skill.
That phrase is the important one. Not one overall score. The individual skills sitting underneath it.
This is what a report card structurally cannot do. A C in math tells you something is off. It doesn't tell you whether your child is strong at computation but falling apart on word problems because of a reading comprehension gap, or whether basic fluency from two grades ago never fully locked in. Those need completely different instruction, and without knowing which one you're dealing with, every attempt to help is a guess.
You leave with a detailed report.
It shows which skills are solid, which ones have gaps, where your child stands relative to grade level, and the specific level where instruction should begin for the fastest growth.
Then we talk.
We walk you through what the results actually mean and what we'd recommend. You ask whatever you want. And then you decide what happens next.
No pressure. No commitment. And if you enroll, no contracts, ever.
A lot of parents tell us the report gave them clarity they'd never had before, whether or not they enrolled. That's genuinely a fine outcome for us.

A shoutout to the parents of The Tutoring Center of Greer.
You noticed something was off and you showed up. That matters more than we probably say out loud.
We see what it takes. The 2:30 pickup that cuts into a workday. The drive across town twice a week. The conversation where you had to explain to your child that this was not a punishment. The quiet worry you carried for months before you ever picked up the phone.
None of that shows up in a progress report.
Here is what we want you to know. Noticing is the hard part. By the time a child is struggling, the signs are usually subtle and easy to explain away. A rough patch. A tough teacher. A phase. It takes real attention to look at your own kid and think, something is going on here, and I am going to find out what.
You did that. Then you did the harder thing and acted on it.
Your child is building skills right now that will carry them through school and well past it. Reading fluency. Math confidence. The ability to sit with something difficult and work through it instead of shutting down.
But the thing they will actually remember is that when they were struggling, someone in their corner noticed and did something about it.
You had options. Thank you for choosing us on this journey. We do not take that lightly.
If you are reading this and recognizing your own situation in it, we are happy to talk. No pressure and no obligation, just a conversation.

Did you know?
Every month you wait, the same skill gap takes more sessions to close.
Here's the mechanism, and it's the part most parents never get told.
Skill gaps are not static. Fourth grade math assumes third grade fluency. Sixth grade reading assumes fourth grade comprehension. When a foundational skill goes unaddressed, the school year doesn't pause. It keeps layering new material on a shaky base, and the distance between where your child is and where they need to be keeps growing.
Waiting makes gaps bigger, not smaller.
Now the encouraging part. Once instruction reaches the right skill, gaps close faster than most parents expect. One full grade level of growth in about 40 sessions, which is roughly five to six months at two or three sessions a week.
What makes that pace possible is that every session is true One-To-One Instruction. One student, one instructor, the full hour. Not a small group. Not a classroom. Not a screen.
Every student starts with a free Diagnostic Assessment using the Woodcock-Johnson V, the premier achievement test in the industry. It takes 45 to 60 minutes and gives you a comprehensive report showing exactly which skills are solid, which ones have gaps, and where instruction should begin.
No contracts, ever.

Back-to-school enrollment is OPEN at The Tutoring Center of Greer.
If your child struggled last year, waiting for the new school year to "fix it" rarely works. Skill gaps in Reading, Math, and Writing carry forward, and they tend to get wider, not smaller.
Right now, we're offering a free Diagnostic Assessment plus a discounted first month of enrollment. The assessment takes less than an hour and gives you a clear, skill-by-skill picture of exactly where your child stands, along with a personalized plan for getting them on track.
Every session is true One-To-One Instruction. No small groups. No classrooms. No contracts, ever.
Spots are limited before school starts.

The fall SAT is 6 weeks away.
If your high schooler is planning to test and has not started preparing yet, this is the moment to move. Not next week. This week.
Six weeks is not a lot of time, but it is enough to make a meaningful difference in your student's score if the preparation is focused, individualized, and starts right now.
At The Tutoring Center of Greer, we have open enrollment in our SAT/ACT Test Prep program and we are taking new students now. Every session is One-On-One Instruction with a certified Test Prep instructor. No classrooms, no groups, no generic pacing. Just your student working directly with someone who knows this test inside and out, covering exactly what needs attention before test day.
Here is what we recommend for families with 6 weeks on the clock.
Start with a free SAT/ACT practice test at our center this week. It gives your student real exam experience under timed conditions. It gives our team a precise picture of where the gaps are. And it lets us build a focused plan immediately so every session between now and test day counts.
Six weeks of targeted One-On-One Instruction is not the same as six weeks of hoping. One of those moves the needle. The other does not.
There are still spots available but this is not the time to wait.

One of our students came to us reading a full grade level behind.
The parent was sure it was a comprehension issue. Their child could sound out words, but nothing seemed to click when it came to understanding what they read.
Then we ran a Diagnostic Assessment.
It turned out the gaps weren't in comprehension at all. They were in phonics and decoding, the foundational skills that have to be solid before comprehension can take hold. The child was working so hard to figure out each word that there was no mental energy left to understand the meaning behind them.
Without that skill-by-skill breakdown, the help would have targeted the wrong area. The real problem would have stayed hidden. And the frustration would have continued.
After 40 sessions of One-To-One Instruction focused specifically on those phonics and decoding gaps, that student tested on grade level.
Not close to grade level. On it.
This is why we start every student with a Diagnostic Assessment before instruction begins. It uses the Woodcock-Johnson V to evaluate Reading, Math, and Writing skill by skill so we know exactly where to focus, not where to guess.
The assessment is free. It takes under an hour. And there is no obligation to enroll.
If your child is struggling and you're not sure why, this is the first step to real answers.

Did you know?
Most kids' focus naturally resets every 15 to 20 minutes. That's not a discipline problem. It's how the brain works.
But most learning environments, classrooms, homework tables, even other tutoring programs, ask kids to sit in one spot, with one set of materials, doing the same type of work for 30, 45, or 60 minutes straight. And then we wonder why they zone out or get frustrated.
At The Tutoring Center of Greer, we built our entire approach around that science.
Our Rotational Approach to Learning® breaks every 60-minute session into three stations: primary skill focus, concentration-building activity, and a secondary skill station. Students rotate to a different location in the center with different materials and a different instructor at each station.
They stay engaged because we change the environment before their brain checks out. Not after.
This method was originally developed for students with attentional and learning challenges like ADD and ADHD, but the research showed it works for every student. Kids stay focused, retain more, and actually enjoy the sessions. Parents consistently tell us the hour flies by.
Combine that with true One-To-One Instruction at every station, not small groups, not classroom style, and you get learning that's both effective and built for how kids actually think.

New shoes. Fresh notebooks. A backpack full of supplies. It feels good to check everything off the list.
But there's one thing no store can provide: the academic foundation your child needs to keep up with this year's work.
If your child struggled with reading, math, or writing last year, those same challenges will follow them into the new school year.
And each year, the material builds on what came before. Small gaps today can become big obstacles tomorrow.
The good news? You don't have to guess where your child stands.
Our free Diagnostic Assessment at The Tutoring Center of Greer gives you a clear, skill-by-skill picture of your child's strengths and the specific areas where they may need support. You'll receive a detailed report and a personalized plan, with no obligation to enroll.
The assessment takes about 45 to 60 minutes, and appointments fill quickly as the school year approaches.
Every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling confident and prepared. We'd love to help make that happen.

Did you know?
A report card tells you your child got a C in math. It doesn't tell you why.
Is it fractions? Word problems? Basic computation that should have been solid two years ago? A report card can't answer that. It just flags that something is off.
That is why every student at The Tutoring Center starts with a Diagnostic Assessment before anything else. It's not a grade. It's a skill-by-skill evaluation of Reading, Math, and Writing using the Woodcock-Johnson V, the premier achievement test in the industry.
You don't leave wondering. You leave with a detailed report that shows exactly which skills are solid, which ones have gaps, and where your child's instruction should start.
It takes under an hour. It's completely free. And there's no obligation to enroll.
Sometimes the most important thing a parent can get isn't a better grade. It's a clearer picture.
