Abner Creek Middle School Abner Creek Middle School is a school in Spartanburg District Five Schools in South Carolina.

We are home to approximately 650 students in grades 6-8.

SPAM- Comments focused on selling a product or service will not be posted
PERSONAL ATTACKS – If a reader disagrees with a post, the district encourages direct contact to the Department of Public Relations. Community members are asked to refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others. ILLEGAL- Laws governing use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc will be followed
LANGUAGE- The District reserves the right to hide or delete posts containing profanity, discriminatory language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit content. We are excited to recognize Ms. Dillingham as our Pack Leader of the Month for October. Ms. Dillingham challenges her students to grow, offers incentives to keep them motivated and thoughtfully uses data to guide her instruction. Mr. Watson’s 6th-grade AVID students just wrapped up their unit on the 5 Phases of the Focused Note-Taking Process in the most delicious way possible!
After independently researching and taking detailed Cornell notes on the science of making homemade ice cream without a churn, students put Phase 5 (Applying Learning) into action today. They used their own written guides to measure, mix, and freeze their sweet treats. Talk about taste-testing your own success! 🧠✨

Yesterday for club day, Byrnes Varsity Soccer players came out to Abner Creek Sports Club to show our kids the ropes! From 1v1 matchups to some fun pickup games, it was a great day of learning, playing, and building connections through the game we all love. 🙌
A huge THANK YOU to Coach Campbell, and Varsity players, Sam, JP, and Skyler, for taking the time to pour into our young athletes and share their passion for soccer! ❤️💙
