Relay races during the Greer Fire Department visit. The first 6 videos are some of the students racing. The 7th video is Pastor Thomas vs. Mr. Clinton. The last video is 2 of the visiting firemen.

During the Greer Fire Department visit, they did an experiment to demonstrate what happens when a lithium ion battery experiences extreme temperatures.
Parents, another thing we learned from this experiment: Glad baggies are VERY durable! It took adjustments and 3 tries to get the baggie to "explode".

This morning, our 3rd-12th grade classes had a special chapel assembly with the Greer Fire Department regarding lithium ion battery safety, then went outside for a fun experiment, relay races (where Pastor Thomas and Mr. Clinton got in on the action!), and a detailed tour of the fire truck. 🚒
