Presently engaged in some new projects. 🤭

So happy with how this turned out. I learned several things along the way to make the process quicker.
All pieces were cut out by hand and the snoot (nose) is hand embroidered purposefully stitched cattywampusly to add texture and movement.

Wash in cold inside out. Press with an iron on medium heat if needed.
Edges are meant to fray.

So this happened! My sister has been encouraging me for a while to go rogue and get my graphic work up on Etsy. I don’t know why but I sat in a pool of trepidation and had to pray my way out of it, have several conversations with my sister and I pushed through!

I am excited to share my first graphic. Well my first real one, I do have another listing but that one has been sitting around waiting for me to bring it friends and now I have!

Big project finished. These two sweatshirts were made with fabric of shirts (solid pieces) from someone who had passed away. I can’t do much to fix the broken heart but my talents can help to soothe the ache.

I really had a hard time making these shirts because there needed to be color and joy in the fabric to coordinate with the T-shirt’s. Finally found this yellow patterned fabric and they turned out so pretty!

I am excited for the recipients to wear them, feel my love from making and the love of their loved one.

Sometimes it’s just hard to sit still and get something done. For the life of me I couldn’t find the graphic I created for my sticker packaging inserts…so I sat myself still and retyped the whole thing. It is printed and cut. Now to package!

It has been a long time since I have been sewing. I am really happy to be back at it. There is something so soothing to be creating with color and fabric. I am excited to meet the person who will take this beautiful sweatshirt home and love it as much as I loved making it.

Each piece of fabric was cut by hand and pieced together to fit the shape of this heart. Colors and fabrics chosen and made with thoughts of love for the person who will be wearing it. I am so excited it is done and will be arriving tomorrow.

Feeling rather excited about this pumpkin. It is my first painted “craft” in a very long time. I am so pleased at how it turned out!

They say you only get better with practice right! If that is true I can’t wait to see what develops!
