Donut forget to RSVP for one of our favorite SSFC traditions—Donuts with Dad!

Students are invited to bring their Dad, Guardian, Grandpa, Uncle, or another Special Adult for a sweet start to the day and a little extra time together before school. ☕🍩

💙💛 September Faith in Action | Serving Our Parish! 🎡

Our September Faith in Action day will be Friday, September 25, and this month our students will put their faith into action by helping prepare for the Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Fall Festival!

📅 Friday, September 25
👕 Spirit Wear Day
⏰ 1:00 PM Dismissal

Each grade will have a special way to serve and support the festival:

🎁 Preschool–1st Grade | Spin & Win
Students are asked to donate small prizes that can fit inside a mason jar, such as candy, golf tees, toy cars, crayons, Pokémon cards, and other small items. Please send donations by Thursday, September 24. No money or lottery tickets, please.

🎂 2nd–4th Grade | Cake Wheel
Students are asked to donate baked goods for our Cake Wheel! Store-bought cookies, breads, cakes, brownies, and other treats are welcome. Homemade goodies are welcome, too! If you plan to bake, please ask your homeroom teacher to send home a cake box. Donations are due Thursday, September 24.

🍽️ 5th Grade | Festival Setup
Our 5th graders will help unload food trucks and set up the food tents on Thursday.

🎪 6th–8th Grade | Festival Prep
Our middle school students will help fill the Spin & Win jars and set up the Silent Auction on Friday.

What a wonderful opportunity for our students to serve their parish community and see firsthand how many helping hands come together to make our Fall Festival possible! 🙏

We Remember. We Honor. We Pray.

Today, Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi School Ministry pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who answered with extraordinary bravery and compassion.

Though many of our students were born years after that day, we have the responsibility to help them understand the importance of remembrance—and the power of choosing kindness, courage, unity, and service to others.

May we continue to pray for the families who carry the loss of loved ones, for all who serve and protect our communities and country, and for peace throughout our world.

We will never forget.

🥧 Live Pie Auction | Baked Into Our Tradition

A homemade pie may be made with flour, butter, sugar, and fruit—but around here, we think there’s a little more baked into it. ❤️

There’s time. Love. Family recipes. Generosity. And tradition.

Our Live Pie Auction celebrates all of it. Each homemade pie represents someone willing to share a gift with our parish family—and every spirited bid adds to the laughter and memories that make Fall Festival weekend so special.

It might get a little competitive. 😉 But at the heart of it is a community coming together to support a place we all call home.

🥧 WE STILL NEED PIE BAKERS!
Have a favorite family recipe? A pie everyone asks you to bring to gatherings? We would love for you to share it with our parish family! We’re still looking for bakers to donate homemade pies for this year’s Live Pie Auction. Your pie could be the one everyone is bidding on!

🙏 We also still need festival volunteers! Whether you give a few hours behind a booth, sell tickets, help guests, or lend a hand wherever needed, you become part of the tradition.

Calling all 4th grade students and families! Join us for Meet Ya at Mass on Sunday, September 13 at the 8:30 AM Mass at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi.

Meet Ya at Mass is a special opportunity for our school and Sunday Morning Religious Education families to worship together, celebrate our Catholic faith, and strengthen the community that connects our school and parish.

We look forward to seeing our 4th graders and their families at Mass! 🙏💛

SSFC 2nd grader, Liana and her family, had the opportunity to help provide meals, showers, fresh clothing, and other basic necessities to individuals in need. We are grateful Liana was able to have this experience and learn the importance of helping others and giving back to our community.

Today, we give thanks for the many hands and hearts whose hard work helps our families, school, parish, and community flourish. We are especially grateful for our incredible faculty and staff who dedicate themselves each day to educating, serving, and forming our students in faith. 💙💛

May this Labor Day offer our SSFC families a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy time together.

We are blessed to gather as a school community each week to celebrate the Eucharist. Families are warmly invited to join us!

👕 Preschool–8th Grade students should wear their Daily School Uniform.

Families are always welcome to attend! We kindly ask that all students sit with their classmates during Mass, even when family members are present.
