Last week, we braved the heat and hit the Indiana State Fair, and it did not disappoint! 🎡🌭 From giant pickle corn dogs (you read that right) to machine gun alley to cheering on one of our clients performing with her clogging crew (definitely a highlight!), it was a day packed with fun, food, and family.

We walked a lot, we laughed a lot, and, true to form, we even scoped out a few exhibits that reminded us just how important it is to plan ahead. 😉

At FIT, we believe life’s a little sweeter (and a little less stressful) when you’ve got a custom-fit plan. Whether it’s retirement or the route to your next fair snack, it pays to know where you’re going. 💼🍿

We hosted a packed house at the Kopper Kettle last night and we’re back at it again tonight!

The food and service were top-notch (as always), and we had some great conversations about taxes, Social Security, and retirement planning. One of the highlights? Having our daughter Ginnerva, join us to help run the event. She’s been behind the scenes for years, assembling folders and prepping materials, but this was her first time stepping into the spotlight. She did a fantastic job and even picked up a few things about what we actually do at these events!

It’s always a blessing to work alongside family and serve our community at the same time.

Every summer, I take our oldest kids on a special “dad trip”, a tradition Krystle started years ago as a Father’s Day gift. She books a cabin or house, and I get a few days of quality time with the big kids doing fun stuff: fishing, swimming, hiking, late-night movies, and plenty of junk food.

This year was full of laughs, mosquito bites, and lots of fish (some bigger than others 😆). It’s a simple tradition, but one we all look forward to, and one I know they’ll remember.

At FIT, we talk a lot about planning for the future. But traditions like this are a great reminder that life’s richest returns come from investing in the present, too.

Here’s to building memories and catching fish (and maybe a few life lessons along the way).
