Last month the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum selected T Mac Howard as the 2026 recipient of the Bill Hetrick Community Service Award in recognition of his extraordinary commitment to serving young people and strengthening his community. It was a privilege to share what the Lord is doing in the Mississippi Delta and to see that work recognized alongside so many others investing in our state!

All of our staff gathered this week for in-service as we prepare for another exciting school year! This year, we're welcoming 152 students and are grateful for a team of 19 full-time and 5 part-time staff members. Please pray for our teachers and staff as they invest in the lives of our 1st-12th graders throughout this school year!

The DSA Lions Track Team wrapped up a successful season this spring, showing tremendous growth and hard work throughout the year!

A special congrats goes to junior Ahmaude Jones, who was awarded District Champion at the North Regional Meet, finishing 1st in the 400-meter dash and 3rd in the 200-meter dash. He continued his success at the State Meet, where he finished 2nd in the 400-meter dash and 4th in the 200-meter dash!

Eight years ago, this video produced by The Daily Signal highlighted the mission and vision of Delta Streets. Today, it's encouraging to look back and see God continuing His work of equipping the young men of Greenwood with a Christ-centered, disciplined education.

The stories of these three young men are a testament to God's faithfulness and the lasting impact DSA has made on their lives. We're grateful these young men are using their gifts to serve others and better their communities!
