Praise the Lord! Some of these kids have waited over two years for a “big kids” playground.

Thank you to The Old Crowe Construction Co. for building our calisthenics play gym for us. We love that we can expand it in the future and change up the components over time to keep it interesting.

The beautiful fence really makes it all come together. On to garden beds and landscaping!

The kids have had so much fun this week turning real questions from our beekeeping adventures into opportunities for scientific discovery! 🐝🔬

With the summer heat, our bees need supplemental sugar water, which led to a great question: How many holes should an entrance feeder have to give the bees good access to the syrup without allowing it to drip too quickly?

Our students are using the scientific method to design and conduct their own experiments to find out. They’re testing different feeder designs, conducting multiple trials, collecting data, and averaging their results to make their conclusions more reliable.

Along the way, they’re learning about vacuum pressure, surface tension, variables, observation, data collection, and practical beekeeping.

We love when science begins with a real problem, a good question, and the chance to investigate the answer ourselves!

(Thanks to the Lakelands Beekeepers Association for their ongoing education and support!)

Day 1 of Year 3 is in the books!

This morning we had the incredible privilege of opening our school day in worship with 28 children. What a blessing it is to see God continue to grow Harvest Schoolhouse!

New friendships were formed, lots of laughter filled the halls, and our students began another year of learning together. We are so thankful for the families who have entrusted us with their children and for everyone who has prayed for and supported this ministry.

God has been so faithful. We can't wait to see what He has in store this school year!

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." — Psalm 126:3

What an incredible week at Harvest Schoolhouse!

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Playground Fundraiser. Because of your generosity, our playground for our younger students is installed, our calisthenics jungle gym for our older students will be going in soon.

We are so incredibly blessed. Our students are going to have so much fun at lunch and recess when they arrive on Monday, and we can’t wait to see their faces!

Thank you for investing in our children and helping us create a safe, joyful place for them to learn, grow, and play.

Thanks to Wagler's Backyard Structures for a great product and professional install.

A Need We Can't Meet Alone!

As Harvest Schoolhouse prepares to welcome students on August 3, we have so much to be thankful for. We already have 24 students whose tuition is fully funded, and God has continued to bless our school in incredible ways.

We also have five additional students who have completed the application process, visited our school, and are eager to join our Harvest family. Each has demonstrated financial need through an independent third-party financial evaluation.

At Harvest Schoolhouse, families are expected to contribute what they are able toward tuition. We then work alongside them to help identify other funding sources and, when needed, provide temporary assistance through our Tuition Assistance Fund. In most cases, tuition assistance is only needed for a single school year while families transition to more sustainable funding options.

Because we were able to help every qualifying family last year, our Tuition Assistance Fund was fully exhausted.

With public schools already beginning and our first day just days away, we have reached the point where we urgently need our community's help.

Would you prayerfully consider making a tax-deductible gift or a monthly pledge to the Harvest Schoolhouse Tuition Assistance Fund?

Your generosity will help bridge the gap for families who are committed to investing in their children's education but simply cannot do it alone this year. Every gift goes directly to our Tuition Assistance fund for qualified families.

If you feel led to partner with us, please click the link below to set up your one-time or recurring tax-deductible donation. If you would prefer to give by check or have additional questions, we would love to hear from you—please reach out to us directly.

Thank you for believing in the mission of Harvest Schoolhouse. We have witnessed God's faithfulness time and time again, and we trust that He will continue to provide through the generosity of those who share our heart for Christian education.

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:19

Support Harvest Schoolhouse tuition assistance and help make Christ-centered education accessible for families with demonstrated financial need.

When the seed of Harvest Schoolhouse was first planted in my heart, the Lord woke me nearly every morning at 4:00 a.m. to begin the monumental task of turning that vision into a reality.

I searched online for grants forStanley M. Herzog Foundationew Christian schools and discovered the Stanley M. Herzog Foundation. I did not receive a grant that first year, but what I did receive was even more valuable: support, training, and encouragement every step of the way.

They have taught me so much about how to lead and build this school well. They have connected me with mentors, trained and supported our team, and continued walking alongside us into our third year. This year, they are providing strategic planning training and support—and even awarded us a grant.

Their “teach a man to fish” philosophy has been so much more than I could ever have hoped for. I am deeply grateful for the Herzog Foundation and cannot wait to attend more of their leadership trainings this year.

Thank you, Herzog, for believing in Christian education and investing so faithfully in schools like ours! -Kelly Birmingham, Head of School

This summer, Ms. Kim and Ms. Kelly have been hard at work rethinking our classrooms, organization, and daily routines as we prepare to welcome a new teacher and many new students to Harvest Schoolhouse!

Our goal is to create an environment that not only maximizes learning but also intentionally teaches organization, independence, and strong executive functioning skills.

If you’d like to help, one simple way to make a difference is by sponsoring a student’s zippered binder. These binders will become each learner’s organizational hub for the school year.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out our Amazon Wish List and are able to spare about $20, your gift will directly help a child start the year equipped for success.

Thank you for investing in our students and supporting the work God is doing at Harvest Schoolhouse! ❤️

Check out this Gift List.
