🌟 A Little Peek Into Our Adventures!

There has been so much learning, exploring, creating, and discovering happening at Adventures lately! 💙

From collecting natural treasures and turning them into creative projects 🌿, to sorting, counting, and exploring colors 🔴🟡🔵, our classrooms have been full of hands-on learning.

Our children have been:
✨ Creating art and using their imaginations
🌱 Exploring nature and the world around them
🧩 Building, sorting, counting, and problem-solving
📚 Exploring early literacy and writing
🤝 Learning alongside their friends
👐 Strengthening those little hands through hands-on activities
💭 Following their curiosity and turning their ideas into learning

🌟 TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: MISS CHANDLER! 🌟

We’re so excited to shine the spotlight on Miss Chandler, one of the amazing teachers in our 2.5 Year Old Classroom! 🥰💚

Miss Chandler has been part of the Adventures family for 1 year and 2 months, and she brings so much fun, love, and positive energy into her classroom every day!

📚 A little about Miss Chandler:
• 🎓 High school diploma + Certified Dental Assistant
• 🐶 Dog mom to Butters
• 🐱 Cat mom to Bean
• 💍 Married her high school sweetheart this past June!
• 🦷 Before joining Adventures, she was a pediatric dental assistant for 6 years and a nanny for 3 years!

💕 Why does she love working with children?
Miss Chandler loves making a positive impact on her kiddos and getting to watch them learn, grow, and accomplish new milestones!

✨ Her favorite part of Adventures:
The day-to-day interactions with her children and their families!

🎨 Her teaching style in one word: FUN!

Miss Chandler brings a fun and loving energy to her classroom, creating an environment where children feel welcomed, comfortable, and excited to learn. Her favorite activity to do with her kiddos is painting and art, and her favorite children’s book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie! 🖌️📖

Looking for the perfect preschool program for your little one? We’re now enrolling children ages 2½–3 years at Adventures Child Care & Learning Center! 💙

🧸 FULL-TIME: 4–5 days per week
🎨 PART-TIME: 2–3 days per week

Our center is open Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, giving families the flexibility to drop off and pick up anytime within our hours. ⏰

💙 How We Support Your Child’s Growth at Adventures

Assessment at Adventures isn't about putting children through tests or comparing them to one another. It's about getting to know the whole child and understanding how they are growing over time.

Our teachers play, observe, document, reflect, and plan throughout the year. We gather meaningful evidence of learning through classroom observations, photos, children's work, conversations, developmental observations, and other portfolio documentation.

Our developmental rubrics are aligned with the Indiana Early Learning Standards and help teachers understand the natural progression of skills, recognize emerging abilities, establish individualized goals, and plan appropriate next steps.

At the end of each quarter, teachers bring that information together in an End-of-Quarter Learning Web that gives families a snapshot of:

💡 Interests — What sparks their curiosity
🎯 Learning Goals — What we're working toward next
🏡 Home Supports — Ways learning can continue at home
🤝 Together We Grow — How teachers and families can partner

And parents are an important part of the process.
