LANDER ALUMNI & FAMILY DAY AT CAROWINDS!

We’re excited to invite Lander alumni and their families to join us Saturday, September 26, for a full day of fun, thrills, and Bearcat memories at Carowinds!

We’re excited to introduce our 18 Alumni Board members, representing our community of more than 26,000 alumni and living across seven states!

With diverse experiences, perspectives, and a shared commitment to Lander University, this dedicated group is helping strengthen alumni connections, foster engagement, and build a thriving community, no matter where our graduates call home.

A historic year for The Lander Foundation is, above all, a testament to the generosity of the Lander community.

During the 2025–26 fiscal year, The Lander Foundation raised more than $3.5 million, grew the University's endowment to a record $32 million, established 12 new endowed scholarships, and awarded $890,000 in scholarships.

These milestones are opening doors for students, expanding opportunities, and strengthening the future of Lander University.

To every alumni, donor, parent, and friend who helped make this possible, THANK YOU.

Your support is making a lasting difference in the lives of our students and in the future of Lander University.

A true full-circle moment!

We're proud to welcome back Nate Reynolds '93, Alumni Association Board President, and Dr. Beth Reynolds '92, '94 as they returned to campus to help recruit and welcome our newest students during orientation.

As proud Sigma Nu and Phi Mu alumni, Nate and Beth know firsthand that Greek Life is about so much more than letters, it's about lifelong friendships, leadership, service, and a community that lasts well beyond graduation.

There’s something incredibly special about welcoming alumni home—but yesterday’s gathering was even more meaningful as we celebrated the faculty and staff alumni who continue to pour their hearts into our alma mater every single day.

From Facilities and Campus Police to Finance, Admissions, the Registrar’s Office, Campus Engagement, the President’s Office and so many areas across campus, our alumni are woven into the very fabric of Lander University. In fact, you’d be hard-pressed to find a college, department, or office that hasn’t been strengthened by the dedication of those who once walked these halls as students.

Their journey didn’t end at graduation—it came full circle. They chose to return, serve, and help create the same transformative experiences for future generations that shaped them.

We are so grateful for these incredible alumni who continue to make our university a place we are proud to call home.
