With Fun Run wrapping up we have already been deep in the planning for our next big student and family events- Book Fair and Family Learning Night

Book Fair:
Our first Book Fair of the year is coming September 14th through the 18th and we need YOU to help make it a success! This week is only possible with fabulous volunteers like you!

Family Learning Night: STEM City

Thursday, September 17 | 5:30–7:30 PM
FREE Family Learning Event and Book Fair

SGE families, get ready to explore, create, build, and discover together! This year, our Family Learning Night is going to be an exciting STEM City experience brought to us by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis!

STEM City is designed for families to learn, explore, and interact together. Throughout the evening, your family can travel around the city and visit hands-on STEM stations.

📚 PLUS — It’s Book Fair Week!
Our Book Fair will be open throughout Family Learning Night, so be sure to stop by and shop with your family!

🍴 Come Hungry!
Porkopolis BBQ and Millie’s Ice Cream food trucks will be on-site with food and treats available for purchase.

There is no cost to participate in STEM City — just bring your family and be ready to learn, create, explore, and have fun together!

Our 2nd grade Bulldogs brought the ENERGY to close out an absolutely incredible day! 🎉 Music pumping, lights flashing, glow sticks glowing, special sunglasses shining, and lots of running, dancing, and FUN! 😎✨

What an amazing way to celebrate all of the hard work and generosity that made this year’s Fun Run such a success. A HUGE thank you to our SGE families for your incredible support and to PiE for making this unforgettable experience possible for our Bulldogs!

A Sugar Grove tradition officially started today for our Kindergarten Bulldogs! 💙🐾✨

Our youngest Bulldogs experienced their very FIRST SGE Fun Run, and they absolutely loved it! From the flashing lights and glow sticks to the music, dancing, running, and of course those flashing sunglasses 😎—the smiles said it all!

This is just the first of many Fun Runs for this crew, and we loved getting to watch them experience this SGE tradition for the first time! 🥹💙

Our 3rd grade Bulldogs hit the Fun Run ready to GO! Between the glowing lights, flashing sunglasses, glow sticks, music, dancing, and plenty of laps, there were smiles everywhere you looked! 💙🖤

Fourth grade brought the ENERGY to the Fun Run! 💙🐾🎉

The music is loud, the lights are flashing, the glow sticks are glowing, and those flashing sunglasses are definitely a hit! 😎 Our 4th grade Bulldogs are running, dancing, laughing, and having an absolute BLAST!

WOW, Bulldogs! We have officially crossed the $59,000 mark! 🎉 Absolutely incredible!

Tonight is our FINAL PUSH before tomorrow’s Fun Run, and we are SO close to $60,000! 😎 I feel certain our Bulldogs are going to be rocking those special sunglasses tomorrow! Keep those final pledges coming!

🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Rouse’s class for winning last night’s challenge! They will enjoy an extra recess AND popsicles with the principals!

🎁 TONIGHT’S FINAL CHALLENGE:
Any student who receives a pledge tonight will be entered into a drawing for a MYSTERY PRIZE! 👀 Who will it be?!

🏃‍♀️ FUN RUN REMINDERS FOR TOMORROW:
Every student will receive a Fun Run T-shirt for the event. Some teachers are sending shirts home tonight, while others are keeping them at school so students don’t forget them tomorrow morning. Please have your child wear shorts or comfortable bottoms and tennis shoes.

Third Grade Takes on the Innovation Center! 🐸🪂

Their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills to the Innovation Center for an incredible day of hands-on STEM learning!

Students explored simple machines and gears, created stop-motion videos to demonstrate their learning, built frogs with VEX pieces while exploring the frog life cycle, and even tackled a real-world engineering challenge—designing parachutes to safely deliver essential supplies to communities impacted by natural disasters. 🌎l

Throughout the day, our students did so much more than learn about STEM. They put our five employability skills into action: Regulate, Persevere, Adapt, Connect, and Collaborate. l

Experiences like this give our students the opportunity to create, problem-solve, work together, and see how what they are learning connects to the world around ! 🐾💙

🐾 SGE FUN RUN — WEDNESDAY UPDATE! 🐾

SGE, WE DID IT! We have officially crossed the $56,000 mark! 🎉

That means we have earned a Silly Safari experience for ALL of our students to enjoy! We are so incredibly thankful for the support of our SGE families and community. Let’s keep the momentum going so we can continue providing even more experiences and learning opportunities for our students!

🚗 Congratulations to last night’s winner, Rafe! Rafe earned the coveted Door 1 Car Pass — which means NO MORE CARLINE before or after school for the rest of the year! WOOHOO, Rafe!

🏀 TONIGHT’S CHALLENGE:
