Welcome Back Southwest! ✏️🍎

The PTO is excited to start this school year! We had a great day welcoming the staff back with breakfast treats this morning and then talking with so many at the back to school event this afternoon.

Special thanks to KuKui’s for coming to join us!

A few things coming up—

1. Our first meeting of the year-Popsicles on the Playground! Monday, August 10th from 6-7:30 on the playground.

2. School wide tshirts! More info will be sent home on this in case you missed it tonight.

We’re wrapping up Staff Appreciation Week at Southwest Elementary the best way we know how—good food and even better people! 🎉

Today our amazing staff enjoyed Chicago’s pizza, breadsticks, fresh Caesar salad, and delicious brownies from Bonefish Grill 🍕🥗🍫

We are so grateful for everything our staff does each and every day for our students. Thank you for your dedication, heart, and all the ways you go above and beyond—you make Southwest such a special place! ❤️

And a big thank you to our wonderful community partners for helping us celebrate our staff all week long!

Staff Appreciation Week at Southwest Elementary just keeps getting better and better!

A huge thank you to Olive Garden for treating our staff to delicious soup, salad, and breadsticks—comfort food at its finest! 🍲🥗🥖

And a special shoutout to Rachel Gildea with Mary Kay for bringing a little extra TLC to our day with a relaxing hand-washing station featuring Satin Hands. Our staff felt so pampered! ✨🧴

We are so grateful for the community support that helps us celebrate our amazing educators in such meaningful ways!

Today our amazing staff was treated to farmers market–inspired goodie bags filled with fresh, fun treats, plus a refreshing lemonade bar from Raising Cane’s to keep everyone cool and smiling!

🎉 Walk-A-Thon Success! 🎉
Thanks to the incredible support of our families, we raised $5,800 during this year’s Walk-A-Thon! We are so grateful for your generosity and enthusiasm—it truly made this event a success. Your contributions help support our students and school in meaningful ways. Thank you for being such an amazing community!

Our top earners in each grade level had the opportunity to pick their LEGO prize!
