Charcuterie lovers, we have two fun classes coming up this fall!

Mommy & Me Charcuterie | September 26 | 10:00–11:30 AM | $135
Spend some quality time together while learning how to create a beautiful charcuterie board! This hands-on class is designed for children ages 8+ and a participating parent or special adult. Each participant will create and take home their own individual charcuterie board. All supplies and ingredients are provided.

Charcuterie Just for Me | October 10 | 10:00–11:30 AM | $75
Learn the basics of creating a beautiful and delicious charcuterie board, from arranging meats and cheeses to adding fruits, crackers, and sweet treats. You’ll pick up simple styling and pairing tips and create your own custom board to take home. All supplies and ingredients are provided.

Sterile Processing Technical Training begins August 17!

Start training for a career that plays a vital role in patient safety. This program prepares students to clean, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment used in healthcare settings.

The course includes classroom instruction, hands-on lab experience, and clinical training. Graduates are eligible to take the CRCST certification exam.

Background check, drug screen, and required immunizations are required.

Last week, Workforce Innovation had the pleasure of hosting a Career Enrichment Camp for Westside Youth! Campers had the opportunity to explore a variety of exciting career paths through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations.

Throughout the week, students learned about careers in machine tool technology, horticulture, CDL, automotive technology, CPR and emergency response, mechatronics, surgical technology, and engineering. We hope this experience sparked new interests and helped students see the many opportunities available for their future.

A special thank you to our Admissions and Dual Enrollment teams for the warm welcome they gave our campers and for sharing valuable information about the educational opportunities available at Piedmont Technical College. Your support helped make this experience even more meaningful!

Thank you to all of our instructors, staff, and partners who made this week such a success. We loved spending the week with these students and can't wait to welcome them back to campus!
