Leflore Christian School is pleased to welcome Jay Watts as our new Head of School.

Originally from Ruleville, Mississippi, Watts brings more than 30 years of experience in education as a teacher, coach, athletic director and principal. He also brings more than 15 years of experience serving as a head of school.

Watts earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University and has served in leadership roles at North Sunflower Academy, Indianola Academy, Starkville Academy and Kirk Academy.

We are excited about the experience, vision and leadership Mr. Watts brings to Leflore Christian School. His commitment to education and student success will be a tremendous asset to our school community.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Mr. Watts as he begins this new chapter at LCS. We look forward to an exciting future under his leadership.

In an effort to prioritize student safety, our teachers participated in a CPR and emergency training session today, resulting in all of them receiving CPR certification.
