Today, our little learners enjoyed a wonderful story time as they learned about Daniel and the Lions' Den. Through this inspiring Bible story, the children discovered the importance of trusting God, being brave, and staying faithful even during difficult times.

The children loved listening to the story, discussing Daniel's courage, and imagining what it would have been like to be in the lions' den! It was a meaningful time filled with learning, laughter, and faith.

We are so proud of our students as they continue to grow in both knowledge and their relationship with Jesus each day. ❤️

Every day, our classrooms come together for one of the most important parts of the day... Circle Time! 🧡

Circle Time is so much more than sitting together on the carpet. It is a special opportunity for children to build friendships, strengthen communication skills, and develop a love for learning in a fun and engaging environment.

During Circle Time, our students even our babies: 📚 Listen to stories and expand their vocabulary
🎵 Sing songs and participate in movement activities
🔤 Practice letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and calendar concepts
🤝 Learn important social skills like taking turns, listening, and sharing ideas
💭 Build confidence by speaking in front of their classmates
✝️ Participate in faith-based lessons that help them grow in their relationship with Jesus

📚✏️ Learning, Growing, and Exploring Every Day at Lionheart Children's Academy! ✏️📚

As we kick off another exciting week, our students are already hard at work building important skills through hands-on learning experiences! Every day in our classrooms is filled with purposeful activities designed to help children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

This week, our students have been practicing name tracing and early writing skills, strengthening the fine motor muscles needed for confident handwriting while learning letter recognition and name identification. These foundational literacy activities help prepare young learners for future reading and writing success.

Our classrooms are also filled with opportunities for creative expression and problem-solving. From building with interlocking construction pieces to creating colorful art projects, children are learning to think critically, follow directions, express their creativity, and work independently. These activities encourage imagination while developing important cognitive and motor skills.

Hands-on projects and sensory experiences continue to be a favorite part of the day! Through art, exploration, and discovery-based learning, students are strengthening their concentration, coordination, and confidence as they investigate the world around them.

At Lionheart Children's Academy, we believe learning happens all day long. 🤸‍♀️ Exciting News at Lionheart Children's Academy! 🤸‍♂️

Our students had an amazing time this week when Alie Cat Gymnastics visited Lionheart Children's Academy for a special demo class! Children ages 2 and up enjoyed exploring gymnastics skills through fun, age-appropriate activities that focused on balance, coordination, strength, and confidence.

From walking balance beams and practicing climbing skills to navigating obstacle courses, our students were fully engaged and having a blast! We loved watching them challenge themselves, build new skills, and most importantly, have fun while staying active.

🌟 We're excited to announce that Alie Cat Gymnastics will now be offered at Lionheart one day each week! 🌟

This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to participate in gymnastics during the school day, saving busy families valuable time and money by eliminating the need for extra trips after school.

We are so excited to welcome Pastor Tyler!

Big news at FBC Greenwood!

We are so excited to welcome Pastor Tyler Cadwell, his wife Emily, and their daughter Caroline to the FBC Greenwood family!

Tyler brings more than 10 years of ministry experience from Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington, Indiana, where he served in student ministry, leadership development, preaching, teaching, mentoring, and church systems development.

But what really gets us excited? Tyler has a BIG heart for people, especially for children, youth, and families! 🙌

His passion is helping churches create a culture where people of all ages can:
Know Jesus personally
Grow in spiritual maturity
Serve faithfully & Invest in others

He loves developing leaders, equipping volunteers, mentoring students, partnering with parents, and helping build lifelong faith foundations centered on Christ.

And we think that sounds pretty special. 😊

Tyler also recently founded Clear Path Leader, a ministry consulting and coaching organization focused on helping churches strengthen discipleship, develop healthy volunteer cultures, and equip ministry leaders.
