🎉Congratulations to our WECEC Staff Members of the week for 8/24/2026…🎉
WECEC Custodial Staff💙🤍
This week, we are celebrating our amazing WECEC Custodial Staff- Ray Legrand, Tony Armwood, Rebecca Burton, Laurie Brown, Anesha Davis,and Janette Cruz, along with Glen Lloyd who assisted again this summer! Our custodial team works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our school is clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students, staff, and families each day. This summer brought new challenges as we housed all four Woodbridge schools for summer school. Our custodial staff continued to care for our building inside and out by making outdoor improvements, cleaning up after extra rainy days, mulching playgrounds, mowing and weed-eating, delivering packages and materials, painting rooms and stairwells, and preparing our spaces for the new school year. Their hard work and dedication helped make WECEC a welcoming place for everyone returning this year. Thank you for always going the extra mile and taking such pride in caring for our school! When you see our custodial team, please congratulate them on being our Staff Members of the Week! 🤍💙

📸 PICTURE DAY IS COMING! 📸

Good afternoon, WECEC Families!

Our Fall Picture Day is scheduled for Monday, September 14! 🎉

These pictures will be used for the yearbook, so students must be dressed in uniform to be photographed.

Students will be bringing home their picture order forms no later than Tuesday evening. Please be sure to check your child’s backpack for their white folder and picture form!

What to Expect on Picture Day

1️⃣ Ordering online?
When an order is placed online, the parent/guardian will receive a camera pass via email. The camera pass can be printed and brought to school on Picture Day. The photographer will photograph the camera pass along with the student.

2️⃣ No printer? No problem!
If your student is unable to print their camera pass, don’t worry! The photography team will manually match the student with their order during the production process.

3️⃣ Missed the deadline?
Parents/guardians may place an order online up to 24 hours after Picture Day. After that time, online ordering may close so the imaging team can pull and match all orders with the students photographed.

4️⃣ When pictures arrive…
Students who purchased a picture package will receive their prepaid package at school. Students who were photographed but did not purchase a package will receive a proof (PX) of their picture.

5️⃣ A second chance to order!
Proof packages provide families with another opportunity to purchase prints. Please note that second-chance orders are subject to shipping and handling costs of up to $8.50 and will be shipped directly to your home.

- Do not include first and last names in photos
- Photos will be accepted until Friday, September 18th
- All submissions will be included in our Facebook Album and on Instagram
- Photos may be edited as needed to remove any identifying information
- Photos may be utilized in district communications such as social media, electronic newsletters, and websites.

You could be the next Little Miss Apple Scrapple!

The Little Miss Apple Scrapple Pageant is open to girls aged five through eight who reside in the Woodbridge School District. The contest will be held on Friday, October 9th on the stage behind the Fire Hall.
There is a $25 registration fee. All proceeds will benefit the Apple Scrapple Festival Scholarship Fund. For more information and a registration form visit the Festival website at www.applescrapple.com or contact the contest coordinator.
