The Crochet Triangles Baby Blanket from - what a fun pattern to work up.
The pattern was adapted slightly to work with a thicker yarn to give this blanket some bulk to hold up to use with an active baby. A half double crochet stitch with a bit of tapestry crochet too, simple and elegant.
Made with one full skein of Creamsicle makes this 30x30 crib blanket with white accent. I love this yarn because it is sturdy and machine washable.
This beauty is on it's way out to the door to it's new owner.
I love making baby blankets, already have another hook now.

My son's new movie buddy - that's what he calls him.
What is he? He's a voodoo doll pincushion that we turned into a beanbag doll. The embellishments didn't call for hair, but I felt he needed a little something extra.
My son loved it, so I asked him if he wanted it. His eyes lit up, he was super excited and exclaimed "of course!".
It makes me happy to see him get excited at my work. Most of the time I make scarves or hats that he won't wear, so this is good 😊. @ Greenwood Village, Colorado

The last two skeins arrived yesterday!
I'm so excited to make this and will be running a Crochet-A-Long in my Fiber Arts Club here on Facebook.
This is a free pattern and you can use any yarn on hand - I'm making it for my daughter and wanted a specific color scheme.
I've seen many versions of this blanket using other colors, the options are limitless!
