We are excited for our Kick A Thon fundraiser tonight! The J. W. Kim Taekwondo black belt candidates will be doing tens of thousands of kicks in support of The BBF tonight!

All those kicks can work up an appetite. Anyone can stop by the Jersey Mike's store next to the DTC dojang tonight for dinner and let them know you're there for The Black Belt Foundation/J. W. Kim Taekwondo and they'll donate 20% of the proceeds to The Black Belt Foundation!

It is with great sadness we are sharing that Grandmaster Gilberto has passed away. He was the head master of the Black Belt Foundation in Alagoas. We thank him for his leadership and his friendship. He will be missed.

Congratulations Marcelo! He won nationals this weekend and is now the top ranked athlete in Brazil. He’ll now compete in national team trials. If he wins he’ll have a chance to represent Brazil in international competitions. 💪👊🥋🇧🇷

Fundraiser tomorrow! Drop your donation off at the J. W. Kim Taekwondo belt test! Whoever donates the most wins a 1 hour private lesson with Grandmaster Kim!

Grand Master Kim was recently in Alagoas, Brazil for a tournament hosted by The Black Belt Foundation. It was a great event providing a good experience and a meal for all who participated!

Grand Master Kim also did an interview about the foundation for local TV.

The Black Belt Foundation was founded to use Taekwondo to help make communities stronger. Now more than ever this is important. We are excited and grateful for the fundraiser being organized by J. W. Kim Taekwondo, Kim & Cam's Taekwondo Academy, and Highlands Ranch Tae Kwon Do to help benefit The BBF.

For only $49 you can get one month of live, streaming Taekwondo lessons from these great schools and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Black Belt Foundation. (New students only.)

Our silent auction is now live online! The auction goes to benefit The Black Belt Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our students we have several great items to bid on. The items can be viewed and bid on at https://www.accelevents.com/e/theblackbeltfoundation.

You can bid from now until 3PM on Saturday, March 7 at which time the online bidding will end. This will be run in tandem with the live auction. Winners will be notified when all bidding has concluded and Miss Cathie or Master Mike will be in touch to get you your item(s) if you win.

Hello Everyone!

I am excited to remind you of the upcoming March 07 dinner to celebrate the 25th anniversary of J.W. Kim. Taekwondo.

At this event there will be a silent auction to benefit The Black Belt Foundation and we are asking members of the J.W. Kim Taekwondo community to please contribute items to be included in the auction. Donating is easy; just drop the item off at the J.W. Kim Taekwondo DTC or Castle Pines dojang, or have one of our volunteers collect it. Please fill in the Item Donation form, as the value of donated items is tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

Suggested items for donation are:
• chocolate
• wine
• kids' games, art/craft supplies, books, toys
• pet supplies
• sports memorabilia, especially if autographed
• tickets to sporting events, theatre, or places of interest
• lottery tickets
• product or service voucher to represent your business
• jewelry
• gift cards of at least $25
• invitation for short term stay at your vacation home, in line with your outlined restrictions
It would be very helpful to the organizers if items could be collected by Saturday February 15, please.
