Stoked to take P4 at the at this weekend!
Great to be back between the tape after having a year off from my injury last year.

Whelp, there goes the race season that didn’t even start.
Somehow went OTB at Floyd Hill. Fractured C7 and maybe a broken finger. 👎🙄
this, my friends is where the benefit of strength training comes into play. So don’t get lazy on your maintenance training for the summer as it keeps you from getting injured more than you should.
So it’s on to supporting racers at the and races and helping my son do his best during those weekends.

Beating the Heat riding 🚵♀️🌡️
Hey fellow riders! Looking to conquer the scorching heat during your mountain bike and riding adventures? Here are some basic tips to stay cool and recover effectively!
☝️Duh! Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 💦 Water is essential for replenishing fluids lost through sweat. Make sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your ride to stay properly hydrated.
✌️Plan your ride during cooler times! ⏰ Seriously, Avoid the peak heat hours by planning your ride early in the morning or in the evening when the temperatures are more manageable.
🖖Dress for the heat! 👕 Opt for lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing that allows proper airflow and ventilation. Cap’n obvious here so don’t black yourself out, rather choose light-colored apparel to reflect sunlight and keep you cooler.
👊Anther Duh! Use sunscreen and protect your skin! ☀️🧴 Apply a sweat-resistant sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to shield your skin from harmful UV rays. Organic is a must and mineral based is even better.
🖐️Cool down with a refreshing splash! 🌊 get your belly flop on! Jump in a nearby lake, river, or even under a cold shower to lower your body temperature and reduce inflammation. The instant relief will do wonders for your muscles!
🖐️☝️Replenish electrolytes and nutrients! 🍌🥥 After intense exercise in the heat, your body craves more than just water. Enjoy a protein shake or the drink to restore essential electrolytes and aid muscle recovery.
