🐾 HAPPY ADOPTION NEWS! 🐾

We are SO happy to share that our third Tails Up kitty, Patches (his former full name being, Patchouli) has officially gone to his forever home! 😻

Today, this sweet boy headed off to start his next chapter, where he has a feline brother and a very cool human sister waiting to keep him company.

And the best news? His new family reports that he has already made himself quite at home and settled in pretty quickly!

They also have a special name for him… Patchy!

We couldn’t be happier for you, sweet boy. May your days be filled with love, cozy naps, tuna snacks (shhh), long relaxing brushing sessions and a lifetime of happiness with your new family.

Happy life, Patchy!

Oh, Blackberry!

One of our resident class clowns, this boy is SO silly! 😂 He has a knack for getting himself into all kinds of situations and absolutely loves to explore.

Blackberry pretty much gets along with everyone, humans and cats alike! He’s playful, curious, social and just an all around fun guy.

And we think he’d do just fine in a home with a dog, too!

If you’re looking for a handsome, silly, adventurous companion, Blackberry might just be your guy.

This is pretty amazing! 🦅

Dolly Parton left behind a pretty incredible legacy for bald eagles, too 🦅💛

Back in 1991, Dollywood partnered with the American Eagle Foundation to open Eagle Mountain Sanctuary at the Tennessee theme park. At the time, bald eagles were still recovering after their population had fallen to just 417 known nesting pairs in the lower 48 states in 1963. The sanctuary provided lifelong care for eagles who couldn’t return to the wild while also rehabilitating other raptors and educating visitors about the species.

The sanctuary also established a breeding, hatching and release program, with around 185 bald eagles eventually released into the wild. Parton received a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Partnership Award for her conservation efforts in 2003. Bald eagles were removed from the U.S. endangered species list in 2007 following decades of conservation work across the country.

🐾 NEW FACES AT TAILS UP! 🐾

We’re thrilled to introduce Pamela, Miss Cleo & Patches - three wonderful cats looking for their forever homes!

Pamela, 9 months
Our little warrior princess! Found as a very pregnant stray in Warwick, Pamela gave birth to 6 babies just five days after being rescued. She was an amazing mama and is now ready to be someone’s baby! Spunky, playful, curious, affectionate and just a tiny bit of a daredevil.

Cleo aka Miss Cleo, about 3 years
Sweet, chill, friendly and always up for playtime with her buddy Trip! Rescued from a hoarding situation after her owner left the animals behind. Thankfully, Warwick Valley Humane stepped in. Now Miss Cleo is safe, loved and ready for her forever family.
P.S. She’s currently accepting September photo shoot appointments!

Patches, 4½ years
A confident gentleman who lost his owner. His two cat sisters have already found homes & now it’s Patches’ turn! His favorite hobbies? Sleeping, being brushed and getting pets.
