Spanish class with Senora Cordero is muy divertido! In today’s lesson, the children practiced the Spanish words for colors, shapes, and various types of movement by listening to and following directions given in Spanish as they moved around the auditorium to different colored shapes programmed on the floor!

We had a great Family Fun Science Day with our Rad Lab teachers Ms. Tammy and Ms. Liz. Families and their children participated in an investigation on the topic of dissolving. Rad Lab is so cool!!

Many thanks to our wonderful Parent Committee for organizing the rockin' Family DJ Night on Friday! This free event for our currently enrolled families was such a great time. There was a DJ and dance party for the children, lots of glow in the dark accessories, and pizza for all.

First Church Preschool will open at regular time today, December 11th. Safe travels in this wintry weather.

A 'Nature Hour' Should Be Part of the School Curriculum Every Day, Say the Wildlife Trusts The UK-based organization Wildlife Trusts is calling for every child in the UK to spend one hour outside in nature, every day, as part of the school curriculum. Their recommendation is based on a recent study commissioned by the organization in which researchers at the Institute of Education at UCL

It’s pouring, but that can’t deter us from having our Harvest Festival!! We have face painting, pumpkin painting, music, a popcorn machine, snacks, balloon art, and we even brought the petting zoo inside! Lots of fun for the whole family on a soggy day!
