Some of the Alumni have been asking me what's going with the suspension of Head Coach Joe Kelly and the coaching staff. Below is a good article explaining the specifics.

It deals with a Greenwich player drinking at Nationals, then being properly disciplined by the Coaches and the suspended players parent going off the deep end vowing to "take down the program".

In my opinion, Joe and the Coaches handled everything by the book and the School needs to stand by their Coaches and not cower to a parent who doesn't want to believe his child messed up and should be disciplined.

Big win for the Boys! Congrats to all the players, coaches, families and friends on winning CT State Championship!

Greenwich held on for an exciting 33-27 win in the Division I state championship game at Wilton High School. The victory gave the Cardinals their 11th consecutive state rugby title.
