We engage preschoolers with active learning fun, using FITNESS 5: literacy, math, motor skills, heal

For more than 25 years, Deborah Kayton Michals has designed and directed programs that combine physical activity with literacy, math, nutritional learning, motor-skill development, and arts curricula. She is a consultant, trainer, and mentor for schools, social service agencies, and arts organizations. She has developed programs for The Education Alliance, the Legal Aid Society, the NYC Board of E

ducation, the 92nd Street Y, and Yale University, among others. An accomplished professional dancer, Deborah earned a bachelors degree in history at Yale University and a master of fine arts degree from New York University in dance as a Goddard Fellow. Deborah lives in Riverside, Connecticut, with her husband, Jonathan, and three school-aged children.

⁣• Performed on Off-broadway productions such as A Celtic Christmas Story

When she’s not working on stage or for the screen, Tara teaches Irish dance to both children and adults at O’donnell Academy of Irish Dance.
