Today, Officer Shaffer stopped by the Greenwich High School Dance Team Car Wash at Cos Cob School to show support for our students and their fundraising efforts.

The Greenwich Police Department is proud to support the organizations, teams, and programs that help make our community strong. Thank you to the members of the GHS Dance Team for your hard work, dedication, and school spirit. We wish you a successful season ahead!

BOE chair Michael-Joseph Mercanti-Anthony said it well. "From here, go forth. Do good. Help. All of us, we don't do this for the accolades. We do this because we believe in you and the importance, the sacredness of public education."

The members of the Class of 2026 at Greenwich High School celebrated at their graduation on Thursday.

The commencement ceremony took place at Cardinal Stadium, where just over 660 students received their diplomas as family members, friends and faculty cheered their achievements.

John Sullivan, a former NFL All-Pro center who is now a partner and director of business development at Stamford-based Integra Global Advisors, was the commencement speaker.
