I'm doing a workshop on how to Crush Your Imposter Syndrome next Wednesday evening 9/17 at Greenwich Library from 6:30-7:30.

I have created a unique approach to this universal feeling we all experience at some point. It came out of work I have done with many coaching clients to help them transform their self doubt into power! 💪

One of my friends thought this was only for professionals because I coach executives but it's relevant for anyone who struggles with this issue.

In a sea of sameness, different is good! It takes courage to be different, to stand out. You need to know that how you are different is your special sauce. It's what makes you You, what makes you unique and that can make you successful. I tell my coaching clients, get out of the box. Be different, be you!

The career coaching side of my business is taking off. New clients are looking to move jobs, transition into new industries or renegotiate their current situations.

We often start with personal branding work. Fancy way to say “What’s your reputation? How do you show up?”

We start with a fun, simple exercise.

✅ Ask 10 people to send you an e-mail with 10 adjectives that best describe you.

✅ Explain that you are working to develop your self awareness and are looking for honesty. Ask a mix of colleagues, work friends and mentors.

✅ Do the exercise yourself beforehand and compare your adjectives to the responses you get.

It’s eye opening 👀 but necessary to create the understanding you need to craft a brand that is intentional and strategically built based on who you are and where you are headed.

The last client I did this exercise with loved it. When we were done she had a list of words that represented her personal brand. She keeps that list on her laptop to remind herself of who she is and how she wants to show up!!🔥
