The luck of the Irish was in full swing at the Seiter Center today! Oh, my … that tie! 😂

We are celebrating March is Reading Month! Students in Ms. Karale's classroom got to enjoy the story of Lily's Dream, a book about friendship written by Bea Jackson, during their snack time. Their guest reader today was MAISD Director of Communications Penny Dora. In the March Book Madness brackets, they voted this story to be their favorite for round 4.

We are celebrating March is Reading Month!

Students worked really hard during the month of February preparing for their academic showcase featuring lessons about Black History Month and World Geography using maps to explore geographical and human-made features. One of the classes also did their own project about animal characteristics and trait variations. Once the students had all of their projects completed, they were able to highlight their work for everyone to see during the showcase. During our mid-year New Staff Orientation earlier this week, we had a chance to discuss school bus safety and demonstrate how our wheelchair lift allows easy access on and off the school bus. Our thanks to Tina Sleight, Transportation Dispatcher, for leading these presentations. We are so excited to welcome our new staff to ! Thank you for choosing Montcalm Area ISD.

Seiter Education Center had their Glow Party yesterday to celebrate a little bit of fun and friendship. There were glow bracelets, stickers, and cool tattoos, plus Mr. Chad as the DJ spinning the tunes. It was a great afternoon for a Glow Party.

Students at Seiter Education Center held their February assembly yesterday where they learned of the Jag Cash winners of the month. Mr. Chad explained the behavior expectations and announced the total points earned by each classroom. And, drum roll........Mr. Kory and Ms. Karalee's classrooms demonstrated the most oustanding behaviors during the month of February. Students in those classrooms get to pick their favorite activity to enjoy together in celebration. What a fun way to learn about modeling best behaviors! Seiter Kindness Squad
