📚🐰 A little reading, a lot of fun, and plenty of school spirit! 💙

We had two very special visitors at Westcliffe today! Two members of the Greenville Rabbettes, cheerleaders for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, joined us to celebrate World Literacy Day! 📖✨

They spent time with our second graders reading stories, playing games, and making literacy extra fun! They also helped us kick off the morning by bringing some energy and excitement to our car line as our Wildcats arrived at school. 🎉🙌

Today’s visit was especially meaningful because one of our visitors, Valerie Naum (formerly Ms. Bostick), is a former Westcliffe teacher! 💙 We love when our Wildcats come back home!

Thank you to the Greenville Rabbettes for spending part of your day with our Wildcats and helping us celebrate the joy of reading! 📚🐰💙

🧪🎈 Science is POPPING off in third grade! 🎈🧪

Our third graders in Mrs. Skertich’s class had a hands-on day of learning all about static electricity! ⚡️ By experimenting with balloons, students got to see static electricity in action and discover how objects can attract and repel one another.

We love seeing our Wildcats learning by doing, asking questions, and having fun with science! 🌊💙

Ain’t No Circle Like Pringle Circle Cuz a Pringle Circle Don’t Stop!!!!

Let’s all stand up and applaud the two 5th grade teams who were able to complete the Pringle Circle Challenge by taking a stack of chips and defying gravity in completing a circle of salty goodness! These STEAM students were able to think outside of the can in completing the improbable! Never doubt a Wildcat cuz they will claw themselves to success! You guys are a CHIP off the old block!! WE ARE WESTCLIFFE!!

🍦✨ Our first graders have been working SO hard these first two weeks of school, and today they earned a little Friday treat! 💙

We are so proud of the effort, growth, and positive attitudes they’ve shown as they’ve jumped right into first grade. What better way to celebrate than with something sweet?! 🥰🍧

Way to go, Wildcats! Keep up the great work! 🐾💙
