I hope to one day practice dentistry. The thing I like most about ecu is the focus they have on job placement opportunities. Especially in the College of Business

Hello, my name is Jenna Bacon, and I am a senior at ECU. I’m majoring in Marketing with a Communication Studies minor. I am the President of the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM), the Dean’s Student Leadership Council chair, and a Peer Mentor! A fun fact about me is that I am obsessed with fall candles, Taylor Swift, and sushi!

My career goal is still in the works; however, I want to do something with customer relationships! My favorite thing about ECU is how supportive the COB students and faculty are and how many opportunities are provided.

Hi everyone! My name is Noelle Edwards and I am currently a senior at ECU. I am from the Charlotte area. I am majoring in Hospitality Management with a triple concentration in Food & Beverage, Conventions & Special Events and Lodging. I will be graduating in May 2024 and am very excited! This is my 3 year on campus and first year as a Peer Mentor but I also serve as a Teacher’s Assistant for two hospitality courses, HMGT 2300 & HMGT 4300. A fun fact about me is that I love sushi an crab!
One of my career goals is to become a general manager of a hotel or run my own event company. My favorite part about ECU is how tight nit my program is, all of the hospitality management professors are very helpful!

Hey, my name is Aniya Thomas I am from Charlotte, NC. I am a business marketing major with a minor in communications. This is my first year as a peer mentor and I am super excited to be able to provide my support to new and transfer students. A fun fact about me is I am the social media intern for ECU student affairs and the social media manager for this account.

One of my career goals is to be a social media coordinator for a professional sports team and own my own marketing company one day. My favorite part about ECU is the community aspect surrounding pirate pride and all the resources that the school and College of Business offers to me as a student and young professional
