GPS is hosting a Back to School FREE Backpack Giveaway on Thursday, July 27, from 8:00-2:30pm at our Central Services Facility (located at 1414 Chase Street, Greenville). Miss Lane’s and Lu Laoshi’s classes had an amazing last week of school with awards, visits from Ritz, a pizza party, popsicles, game time, and extra recesses. We had a great year with these kids!! ❤️

Lu Laoshi’s and Miss Lane’s classes reached their Dance-A-Thon goal a few months ago, so they walked to Dairy Barn today to spend their reward money on some delicious ice cream! 😋🍦☀️

Students researched a state this week and created a Google Slides presentation about it. Here are pictures of the students who chose to present to their class. They did such a good job!! 👏

We had a great afternoon at MCC for Montcalm County Farm Bureau’s Project RED (Rural Education Day). Ask your child what they learned!

Students learned about joining 5th grade orchestra next year. A paper went home with more information.

Our 4th grade runners did an awesome job!

Our April challenge is to be a “Bucket Filler” by treating others with kindness and respect. We have buckets in our classrooms to fill with pom poms when we notice these behaviors. 4th grade filled their buckets, so we celebrated with a picnic lunch and an ice cream reward. It is a beautiful day for it! 😋☀️

M-STEP testing starts tomorrow! Please have your child bring a water bottle and headphones (not Bluetooth or smart headphones) to school on their testing days!

Baseball day today!! ⚾️ Students received a baseball bracelet for their monthly star jacket reward!

We learned about volcanoes this week, so what better way to end Unit 8 than making our own mini volcanic eruptions?? 🌋

We had our Music Concert last night! Everyone did such a great job! 🤩🎶

We had a presentation earlier this week where students learned all about efficient energy usage. Kits were sent home with several items to use, including LED light bulbs and a new shower head. Students received a survey to complete with parents and turn back into school by next Friday, April 21st. Ask your child about this awesome experience!

Our last week of March is Reading Month was great! We had mystery readers, spirit days, a free book donated for each of us to take home, and we watched an adventure show called You vs Wild on Netflix. Thank you for supporting us this month!! 🤩
