We hope our OSLS families are enjoying sunshine, popsicles, adventures, and making sweet memories together. Summer is a wonderful time to slow down, explore, and learn through play, whether that's splashing in puddles, reading favorite books, or discovering something new outdoors!

This year was filled with learning, laughter, curiosity, creativity, and so much growth. We are incredibly proud of each of our students and thankful for the amazing families and teachers who make our school community so special!

This week, we are celebrating our amazing teachers at Our Saviour Lutheran School! 💛
Thank you for the love, patience, creativity, and care you pour into your classrooms each day. You help make our school a place where children feel safe, joyful, and excited to learn. We are so grateful for all that you do for our students and families! 🍎

Our Field Day was sun-sesational!

Our students spent the day rotating through so many fun activities including bubbles and chalk, egg and spoon races, keepy uppy, obstacle courses, sponge games, water balloons, water tables, and of course…popsicles!

There were lots of smiles, laughter, teamwork, and memories made on a beautiful day! We are so thankful for our amazing team of teachers who helped make the day special and fun!

Something is growing in our 3’s and 4’s classroom!
To end this school year they will be studying plants! Children have been learning what plants need to grow, coloring flowers, and even planting lima bean seeds to observe the growing process.
Next week, they’ll plant their own flower seeds because the best way to learn is to get your hands a little dirty 🌷

From floor coloring masterpieces to spring flower spotting🌸, our one-year-olds are busy exploring, climbing, and creating!

Big shoutout to Ms. Tenisha for being nominated for a Member Spotlight in the Creative Curriculum Teaching Strategies hub!

In her feature she shared her love for watching children grow in confidence and her passion for creating a warm, supportive classroom where every student feels valued.

That’s exactly what we see in her classroom every day! We are so grateful to have her as part of our OSLS family 🩷

So much learning happens when we follow children's curiosity!

During our Light Study, our 2's explored shadows, searched for light around the school, and used the light table to explore how some objects let light through while others block it.

Explorations like these nurture curiosity and confidence as children explore and make sense of the world around them!

We had such a fun Literacy Spirit Week at OSLS!
