, , and Beer & Napkins go way back. I still remember those early yeast conversations and the spark behind wanting to build something different—something honest, rooted, and real.

First things first: let’s celebrate a good run in Greenville. That place held a lot of stories. Artists, creators, friends, experiments, late nights, and big ideas. It mattered. And it takes real wisdom to know when a chapter has run its course and to close it well. Mad respect for that call.

I’m genuinely glad to see them thriving in Anderson and excited to watch what’s next as Dave turns his attention to nurturing the farm in Walhalla. That feels like the right next season.

Grateful for the friendship, the openness to the creative community, and the years of shared ideas. If you haven’t already, go spend some time with them at Carolina Bauernhaus Anderson—good people doing good work.

🧠🍻 Ales & AI – Setting Goals in a Shifting Landscape

AI isn’t on the horizon—it’s already reshaping the terrain beneath us.

This isn’t a time for passive observation. It’s a call for community-centered insurgency—a grassroots movement where creatives, technologists, educators, and leaders come together to define how we’ll live, work, and thrive in an AI-shaped world.

If the future feels uncertain, the response is clear:

Embed yourself in a community that keeps its eyes on the landscape. That’s how we sharpen foresight, build resilience, and move with purpose.

“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” – Joseph Campbell.

At our latest Beer and Napkins Creator Session, Thomas
Riddle didn’t just talk about education—he handed us a map.

A map back to imagination.
Back to fun.
Back to the creative spark that gets buried under burnout and busywork.

Through his four pillars—Story, Space, Experience, and People—we were reminded that real transformation begins within.

✨ Want to design better spaces, schools, or systems?

First, design the story you’re living.Thomas challenged us to treat imagination as a discipline, not a daydream—and to bring playfulness and purpose back into our creative work.

Thanks to for the spark ⚡ And to and for the space to imagine what’s possible.

✨ We all need more hands-on learning with AI — not just reading about it, but using it.

At our last Beer and Napkins Ales & AI meetup, I was lucky to connect with Michael J. Muyot, who shared powerful insights on how AI can help entrepreneurs, educators, and creatives turn ideas into action.
Michael just launched the IMMERSA Summer Sprint — a 5-week, AI-powered experience designed to help you push past overwhelm, sharpen your focus, and launch something real (no coding required!).

🎉 Use code: earlybird20 for $200 off (this first week only!)
⚡ Spots are limited + filling fast!

From my AgileOPX + Beer and Napkins perspective, I love amplifying learning spaces like this — spaces where we stretch, collaborate, and apply.
If you’re curious, check it out! Let’s keep growing, building, and learning together.
