Please join us in giving a warm Sevier welcome to Mrs. Khalil, our new ESL teacher! Read more about her below.
Hi, I'm Mariam Khalil, and I'm excited to be joining the Sevier family as an ESL teacher! This school year marks my 22nd year in education and my 5th year with Greenville County Schools. Teaching multilingual learners is truly my passion, and I love helping students grow in confidence while embracing the unique cultures and experiences they bring to the classroom.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, who are my greatest source of joy and support. I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of learning, and I strive to create a classroom where every student feels welcomed, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
I'm looking forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff, and I'm excited for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and new adventures together. Go Sevier!

Join us in welcoming Mr. Gratton! Read more about him below.
I am a music educator living in Greenville, South Carolina, and I have been teaching in public schools for around 10 years. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Tennessee.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to perform with multiple orchestras in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia, and I have taught students at every level, from elementary school through college.
In my free time, I enjoy attending Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey games and Greenville Drive baseball games. I also have a 12-year-old son, Max, who is a hockey goalie and plays the cello in the orchestra at League Academy.
I am excited to join the Sevier Middle School family as the new Strings Teacher and look forward to sharing my passion for music with my students!

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Muolo! Read more about him below!
Hi all! My name is Joey Muolo, and I am so excited to be joining Sevier as a 7th grade math teacher!
I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Middle Level Education in Mathematics and Science. During my time at Carolina, I worked in a variety of leadership and management roles, co-taught a section of first-year seminar, and supported numerous campus programs. Over my four years at USC, I held 9 different leadership positions! It's safe to say I love the Gamecocks, but I am excited to return home to Greenville and begin my teaching career!
I was born and raised here in Greenville and graduated from Mauldin High School. I am a proud alum of what is now the GCS Future Teachers Academy and have remained committed to supporting our community! In 2025, I interned with Public Education Partners and had the pleasure of supporting Greenville County Schools and its mission!
As I begin this new chapter, I am incredibly excited to give back to the community that helped shape me. I can't wait to meet my students, work alongside the amazing staff at Sevier, and become part of the Falcon family!

Join us in welcoming Mrs. Swafford! Read more about her below!
Hi everyone! I am Fallon, and I am so excited to be joining Sevier Middle School as a full-time school counselor. I am from Easley, SC, and have spent the last 20 years working in education. I hold degrees in Elementary Education and School Administration, and I recently earned my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Counseling from Clemson University.
I had the privilege of serving as a counselor intern at Sevier Middle School this past fall, and I am thrilled to be returning in a full-time role. I look forward to being back at such an amazing school and continuing to support the incredible students, staff, and families that make Sevier such a special place.
Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with my family. My husband and I have one son and one grandson, and they currently live all the way in Japan with my daughter-in-law, so any chance we get to visit is extra special.
I am truly excited to be part of the Sevier community and to support students as they grow both personally and academically. Here’s to a great year ahead! 😊

Join us in welcoming Ms. Greggs! Read more about her below.
I am thrilled and excited to be returning to Sevier! Although I recently retired, I have stayed connected to education through volunteering and substitute teaching. I am committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and encouraged to grow.
Outside of school, I enjoy eating just about every vegetable imaginable, but for some reason, I can never get enough chocolate! My greatest joys are my children and, especially, my precious grandchildren.
I look forward to bringing a wealth of experience, creativity, and dedication back to Sevier, and I can't wait to learn, laugh, and grow alongside today's learners!
