All GCS schools and offices are closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Friday of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week: Teachers enjoyed a Coney Island themed Hot Dog Lunch and received carnival tickets to enter into a variety of prize drawings. It was such a great week!! Thank you to all the parents that volunteered and contributed to make this event possible and so very special!! We like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Shook for all their hard work and time they dedicated to planning and hosting each day as its own event. We appreciate you all!

Thursday of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week: Teachers and staff were treated to hot and cold coffee, juice and some baked deliciousness from Panera. What a great surprise to start off the morning!

Wednesday of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week: Thank you to our PTA Teacher Appreciation Committee for a delicious BBQ lunch and to our parent volunteers for taking Lunch Bunch duty to allow our teachers to enjoy food and friendship together.

Tuesday of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, our PTA treated our teachers and staff to Grab & Go Cuban sandwiches, plantain chips, and key lime pie! What a fresh and delicious lunch!

Please don't forget to pick up your child's medication (over-the-counter & prescription) on or before the last day of school.

Our entire school staff enjoyed a Chick-fil-A breakfast, courtesy of Raeford Farms, and our PTA hand delivered gifts this morning! What a great surprise to start off Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!

BETA club students volunteered on Saturday at Tomorrow’s Rainbow farm.

We want to give a big thanks to our wonderful bus drivers for transporting our Falcons each day with patience, care, and dedication. We appreciate all that they do to support our students and our school.
