🦅 Faces of the Nest: Kimberly Bunnell 🦅

Meet Kimberly, our PTA Secretary & Communications lead and the person behind so much of the PTA’s “behind-the-scenes” magic this year! ✨

Kimberly has been part of the Summit Drive community since 2022. While this was her first year serving on the PTA Board, she’s jumped into many volunteer roles over the years — room parent, Easter egg hider, pumpkin decorator, ice cream scooper, party planner, field trip chaperone, book fair setup crew, and holiday shop cashier.

One of Kimberly’s biggest goals this year was helping streamline how the PTA communicates with families in a way that feels thoughtful, organized, and easy to follow.

📣 Looking Back
Kimberly says she’s especially proud of the work done this year to strengthen the PTA “voice,” including:
• A newly designed PTA website
• Newsletter refreshes
• A strong social media presence
• Communication plans and frameworks future boards can build upon

☀️ Looking Ahead
As the school year wraps up, Kimberly is looking forward to a summer filled with swim team fun, beach trips, park adventures, and extra family time.

She’s also especially excited for next year because her youngest child will officially become a Summit Drive Eagle! 🦅
