The ‘25-‘26 school year officially closed today and while this instructor is ready for a break there are projects to complete! Just like teachers throughout the district, I moved as much furniture and belongings as I could to allow facilities personnel to deep clean and as you can see-space is tight. Things yet to do-out with our old PPE, in with the new, re-assembly of current sets, complete a fire alarm display board, a cart for our model home prop, and rework our ventilation prop. For now moments to reflect and recharge. FFI/II and EMT students enjoy your summer and be safe.

Commencement-not an end but a beginning. So happy for this young lady who’s headed to college with plans for becoming a pediatric oncologist. All the best, “Grandpa”

Whoa! What’s this? Personal protective clothing strewn around the classroom and lab, textbooks ready for return, diesel truck in fire lab and fire truck in diesel lab… Must mean the end of the ‘25-‘26 school year is fast approaching!

After informing my class that their teacher’s name appeared in “A Legacy That Lives On” by scfirefighters Carter Jones, S. Ryder was congratulated with a morning breakfast biscuit after he accepted the challenge and located my name in the book. Great effort!
