WHHS Chorus

Our last day was another full one!!

• 8:30am feedback session to learn how to grow as an ensemble
• Mrs. Moyer participated in a music educator breakfast and roundtable discussion
• Cheered on our favorite senior quartet, InstaGramps
• Mass choir rehearsal under the direction of Dan Wessler and the incredible Westminster Chorus
• Sound check and final rehearsal
• Dinner! Some of us found some sushi and ice cream 🍦
• Saturday night show that was amazing with FOUR top 10 BHS internationals quartets, SAI queens, Dynasty, and so many more awesome groups!!
• Afterglow with some amazingly talented humans and it was fun to see my students so starstruck!!

We are off to bed for literally 2 1/2 hours before we have to head to the airport and back to the fridged temperatures 🥶

It has been such a great experience and we hope to do ot again! Thank you, Barbershop Harmony Society for an event like no other!!

Performance day!! Not too many pictures since we were in work mode!

•Back to the hotel to get into performance attire
•Cheered on our Mauldin friends
•Performed our ABBA set!🎤
•Recieved an Oustanding Rating!🥳
•Made a guest appearance at the Donor reception to thank them for their support.🥰
•There was a Lemon Squeezy sighting 🤩
•Masterclass with the amazing Deke Sharon 🤩
•Out to dinner around Pasadena
•Fantastic Friday Night Show with so many great quartets including The Newfangled Four and Full Effect Quartet !!! 💯

Not sure it is possible to top this!!

It was another fantastic and full day on our California adventure!

Tour of the Warner Brothers Studio - it was so fun watching the kids geek out 😆

A film acting workshop with the New York Film Academy

Then we made our way to Pasadena and the opening session meeting and mass choir rehearsal.

Shout out to our friends at Mauldin High and Take Note Quartet for their super performance in the quartet contest!

Enjoyed some great barbershop at the Thursday Night Show!

Off to bed to get some rest before tomorrow's chorus contest!

What a day! A LOOONG day 😆
We started at 3am on the east coast and ended our day with room checks at 11pm on the west coast. Those of you who have gotten more sleep than me can do the math on that one!

Santa Monica Pier with perfect weather
Broadway show, The Notebook, where everyone got a good cry in a stunning theatre!

Now to get as much sleep as possible before another long (but not quite so long as today!) and awesome day!!

Chamber Choir kicked off Homecoming weekend by singing the National Anthem and WHHS Alma Mater at the football game. What lovely sunset singing with some lovely people!!
