Last camp of the summer! We had such a fun week with these Girl Scouts. It is such a joy to watch these girls go from the bare basics of horses to blooming into independent riders. Such a great hands on experience for our GU students to serve and showcase their skills learned in class. Hands on, experiential learning at its finest!

GU Equestrian had such a fun week hosting the Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois for horse camp! These girls got to apply some of their leadership skills in learning the basics with the horses all the way up to riding independently with ease. What a great way to use their leadership training and also get to learn new things! This was such a fun group that brought so much life and joy that made it such an enjoyable week for all! Everyone did a great job!

Look at all these big smiles from our week of horsemanship sessions with Project 24 of The Simple Room! GU Equestrian enjoyed experiencing the joy and curiosity of these kids while out at the barn. They got to learn how to groom, lead, and even take a ride on the horses!🐴😊
