Hi Wintergreen families! Friendly reminder: Students dismiss at 11:30 AM today. Have a safe, fun, and wonderful summer!
Greetings Wintergreen Families,
We look forward to seeing our families and friends tomorrow, June 9, as we celebrate the success and accomplishments of our 5th-grade students!
Please note that the 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony will take place at the Alice Keene Recreation Center at 9:00 a.m. Doors will open between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m.
If you have any questions regarding the ceremony, please contact your child's teacher.
To help ensure a memorable and respectful experience for all students and families, we kindly ask that you review the following guidelines:
All guests must enter through the front entrance of the recreation center.
All guests must have a ticket for admission.
Out of respect for all students being recognized, families are asked to remain for the entirety of the program.
Upon arrival, families wishing to check out their child following the ceremony should complete the required checkout paperwork and present a photo ID at the tables located at the back of the gymnasium.
After the ceremony, parents who have completed the checkout process should remain inside the recreation center. Students will be reunited with their families after all students have exited the gymnasium.
Students will not be permitted to carry or transport flowers, balloons, gifts, or similar items following the ceremony.
To ensure that all students can be heard and recognized appropriately, we kindly ask families to follow proper ceremony etiquette when students' names are called. Please hold applause until directed and refrain from shouting or calling out students' names during the program.
Families are not permitted to approach students while they are seated on the gym floor.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we celebrate this important milestone for our 5th-grade students.
Dr. Briney

π£ Important Announcement: End-of-Grade Testing Schedule π£
Hello Wintergreen Intermediate families! This is Dr. Briney, Principal of Wintergreen Schools.
As you know, NC End-of-Grade (EOG) testing is right around the corner. To ensure our scholars are set up for success, we ask for your support in the following ways:
β
Get plenty of rest the night before the test.
β
Eat a healthy breakfast to start the day strong.
β
Arrive to school on time β tardiness may result in your child missing the chance to test with their class, which can add unnecessary stress.
Our students have worked incredibly hard, and we want them to feel confident and prepared.
Please encourage your child to:
Take their time and read each question carefully.
Apply the strategies their teachers have shared.
Give their best effort β we believe in them!
I am so proud of the work our students and staff have put in, and I look forward to celebrating their successes!
