About the owner:
A special education teacher for the past 10 years, Barbara McClernon chose to leave public schools and work individually with students and their families. She earned her teaching license in 2002 in special education and a masters in education in 2007. McClernon proudly represented her elementary school as teacher of the year for the 2010-2011 school year. In March 2012, McClernon and a partner teacher were honored with the Golden Apple Award, the first double winners in Bi-Lo's history of the award.
