What an unforgettable few days at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Conference!! đź’™

I am SO grateful to have attended as a Joan Frey Boytim Award recipient. Because of the generosity of NATS, I had the opportunity to learn from inspiring workshops, hear world-class performances, cheer on my students in the National Student Auditions finals, and connect with so many talented, passionate colleagues from across the country.

Experiences like these remind me how important it is to keep learning, growing, and bringing new ideas back to my students. I leave feeling inspired, energized, and so thankful for this incredible community.

Thank you, NATS, for investing in independent teachers and making opportunities like this possible. I can’t wait to put everything I learned into practice! 🎶

Some shows stay with you long after they are over…and this is one of them. 🌹 Five of our incredible students took the stage in Hadestown: Teen Edition at South Carolina Children’s Theatre, and I truly have no words. It was beautiful, powerful, and deeply moving from start to finish. Watching these young performers tell this story with such heart and maturity. This show was perfectly cast…every single character, from the leads, the workers, the band… just beautiful. The direction, choreo, lighting… everything. So proud of each of them and grateful to have witnessed the magic 🌹✨
