15 years ago, we opened our doors for the very first time. It’s hard to believe we are now closing out another incredible school year!

As we reflect on this milestone year, we have so much to celebrate and so many people to thank. Today is the day we celebrate our 8th graders and send them off with warm wishes as they begin their high school journey. It has truly been a joy getting to know each and every one of these students over the years.

A very special thank you to the 11 students and families we have known and loved for all 9 years of their elementary and middle school careers at Lead Academy. Watching you grow has been such a privilege, and you will all be deeply missed.

We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in the future! ❤️

From 5th graders sharing wisdom with 4th graders, to 1st graders proudly publishing their own books, to a surprise water balloon attack on our 8th graders from some favorite teachers, we are squeezing every minute of joy out of this final week of school! 🎈📚💙

Thank you so much to Eggs Up Grill Mauldin for fueling our staff this last full day of school. We are so grateful for the wonderful breakfast you provided!

Thank you to Morris-Jenkins for bringing their ice cream truck to Lead today! Students were able to enjoy a free ice cream treat in celebration of all of their hard work and accomplishments from this school year. We are so grateful for your support and for helping us celebrate our students in such a fun way!

This past weekend, Lead Academy brought home numerous individual awards and captured 1st Place as a team! We are so proud of our students for their hard work, strategy, and determination throughout the season.

Students enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a special salad for lunch as we celebrated this exciting new space on our campus. We can’t wait to begin harvesting our own fresh garden salad ingredients next school year! Thank you for helping us grow something special for our students and school community. 💚

As we come to the close of another school year, we want to extend a special thank you to ScanSource, Burgiss Charities, Hathaway Family Foundation and CHEF360. Because of your incredible generosity, we were able to continue our free breakfast and lunch program and serve more than 63,000 school meals at no cost to our students this year.

Your support helps ensure our students are nourished, cared for, and ready to learn each day. It is community partners like you who help us continue to nurture the whole child. 💙🍎
