These smiles say it all! It’s safe to say we had an AMAZING first day! Our Cardinals were back in the halls, and the laughter, joy, and excitement made for the perfect start to a wonderful school year!

And what could be more perfect than having Jesus in our halls on the very first day of school? 🙏🏼 Father Najim and Father Jay processed through our school with the Blessed Sacrament, bringing Jesus past every student and every classroom. What a beautiful and powerful way to begin a new school year placing our students, teachers, and entire school family in His loving presence. ✝️

Over the past two years, Father Patrick has been the face of Christ to our St. Philip Parish and school community. As he begins a new chapter at the University of Rhode Island, we know he will continue to inspire others, share God’s love, and lead countless people closer to Him.

Father Patrick, thank you for being such a constant presence in our school, from celebrating Mass, to visiting classrooms, teaching religion to our middle school students, cheering on our Cardinals at all their events, and even stopping in to paint with your Pre-K friends. Your kindness, joy, and unwavering support have touched the lives of our students, faculty, and families in so many ways.

While we will miss you dearly, we are so grateful for everything you have done for our school and parish. Know that you will always have a home at St. Philip School.

What an incredible day for our 4th and 5th Grade Soccer Team! After an undefeated season, they topped it off by becoming the CAL Junior Division State Champions today!

We are beyond proud of this amazing group of student athletes for their hard work, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship all season long. The Cardinal pride was shining brightly both on the field and in the stands, and the support from our school community was truly incredible. Today our amazing kindergarten class took the stage at their End of the Year Celebration and absolutely shined! They sang their hearts out and poured so much love and hard work into every moment. We could not be prouder of the exceptional job they did!

Watching how much each child has grown this year has been such a joy. Together, they became a beautiful classroom family filled with kindness, laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. ❤️

Congratulations to our sweet kindergartners ! Keep dreaming big, shining bright, and believing in yourselves. You are more than ready for first grade, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for each of you!
