Just as the morning star heralds the sunrise, Mary’s birth announces the coming of Christ into the world. Her gentle fiat began with a humble arrival—one that would forever change human history.
"Your birth, O Virgin Mother of God, proclaimed joy to the whole world: for from you arose the Sun of Justice, Christ our God."

As we honor Our Lady today, let us ask for her intercession to lead us ever closer to her Son, the Light that dispels all darkness.

Today, we honor the father of Western monasticism, whose timeless wisdom calls us to simplify and prioritize. St. Benedict famously urged:
"Prefer nothing to the love of Christ."
