Freshman Orientation

Orientation Details
Date: Thursday, July 23
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Brewster Building D Hallway

This orientation is designed to help you get acquainted with your school, learn about what to expect during your freshman year, meet staff members, and connect with future classmates. We encourage you to come with a positive attitude and be ready to make new friends and start building relationships that will help make your high school experience successful.

If you will need bus transportation to attend orientation, please let us know as soon as possible by completing the transportation form linked in this message. Providing this information in advance will help us make the necessary arrangements.

Lunch and snacks will be provided during the day. If you have dietary restrictions or prefer to bring your own food, you are welcome to do so. Please dress comfortably, as you will be participating in a variety of activities throughout the day.

We are excited to welcome you to campus and help you get started on what promises to be an exciting high school experience. We can't wait to meet you on July 23!

Freshman Orientation Transportation Needs

We are excited to share that members of the Innovation Early College High School Instructional Advancement Team are presenting at the Early College Summit!

Their session, Instructional Advancement Through Inquiry, showcases how IECHS has transformed teaching and learning by placing inquiry at the center of instruction. Through purposeful lesson design, students are empowered to ask questions, investigate ideas, collaborate with peers, and think critically—developing the skills needed for success in college and beyond.

We are proud of the culture our team has built, where inquiry drives instruction, student voice is valued, and learning is engaging, authentic, and meaningful.

Thank you to Mrs. Attardi, Mr. Fussell, Mr. Grant, and Ms. Powell for representing IECHS and sharing the innovative practices that make our school unique.

A special thank you to Mr. Jester for his leadership, vision, and dedication to this work over the past two years. His commitment to inquiry-based teaching has helped shape our instructional culture and has been instrumental in advancing learning for both students and staff.
