We have received renewed interest this semester in holding a training event; however we want to hold it at a time that is convenient for all our staff members. We are tentatively planning to hold an Education and Enrichment Event on Reading Day, Wednesday, December 5th from 9:30a.m.-1:00p.m. Lunch would be provided! Please let us know if you would be able to attend/are interested in attending by "Liking" this post. Thanks!

The fall semester is really underway and we would like to get your input on staff training opportunities this semester. Would you like to learn more about how to utilize this job as professional experience in the work force? Or get another chance to learn more about how to guide someone through the paper writing process? Let us know, and tell us what times work better for you. Go Pirates!

SESSION #4
April 9, Time - 5:60-6:30: Can this job make you a better professional? - Special guest presenters from the career center will discuss how you can use your position with the academic support staff program to develop as a professional and strengthen your work ethic. Student jobs are great opportunities to prepare yourself for the work force. The benefits of your current position and how to give and get the most from it will be explored. This session is recommended for all levels of staff members. ATTENDEES ARE ASKED TO BRING A JOB DESCRIPTION FROM A POSITION THEY ASPIRE TO HOLD POST GRADUATION FOR EXPLORATION DURING THIS SESSION. (Location: PDAC Conference room)

Remember that ECU will be closed next Friday, April 6, for Good Friday. Since there is no school during this time, most study halls will not be meeting April 4-8 either. Check out Blackboard for specific details. We hope everyone enjoys their break!
