The Artios Greenville Story

For over 30 years, the leadership of Artios has been partnering with parents to guide every student to his or her fullest potential in Christ. From the youngest ages through high school, we emphasize the development of a Biblical worldview, especially as it relates to cultural literacy in the arts and encourage awareness of how the arts have impacted society.

Because Truth manifests itself throughout history in the form of art, events, people, leaders, and leading ideas, it is imperative to contextualize and consume these details, not as stratified subject matter, but as God intended – seeing every historical milestone, personality, and ideology, as part of the greater story of God.

Artios Greenville began 8 years ago under the leadership of Melody Yasi. In 2017, Artios Founder and Executive Director, Lori Lane and her husband John took on the leadership of Artios Greenville. With a heart for excellence and a desire to see students take their next artistic and academic steps, the degreed staff at Artios Greenville is one of the best around. Our wonderful staff partners with parents to help make homeschooling easier and to do some things that are difficult to do from home like concerts, theatrical productions and a strong community.

We have 3 programs at Artios Greenville. First, The Academy of Arts and History is a K-8th grade rotation between music, art, theater, and history. In these 4 age-divided classes students learn about the arts through the lens of history. These hands-on classes help students put art into a historical setting no matter their learning style.
