Looks like all those years of dodging potholes, backing into tight spots, and safely transporting precious cargo have paid off!

A huge congratulations to Byrd Schiedermayer and Pat Colosimo for their impressive performances at the Wisconsin School Bus Association Safety Competition at Fox Valley Technical College this weekend. Byrd drove her way to a 2nd place finish, while Pat wasn't far behind, taking home 3rd place!

We're proud to have these skilled drivers representing Hortonville Area School District Transportation. The students already knew they were great drivers—now the rest of Wisconsin does too!

Help us congratulate Byrd and Pat on a job well done!

☀️🕶️ School's Out for Summer... But These Items Didn't Get the Memo! 🕶️☀️

As we wrap up another school year and head into summer break, our Lost & Found is still full of items waiting to be reunited with their owners!

Before everyone settles into summer vacation, please take a moment to check for any missing belongings. If you think an item may belong to your student, please reach out or stop by to claim it.

📅 Any unclaimed items after Friday June 19th will be donated.

Help us find these items a home before summer officially begins! Thank you, and have a safe and wonderful summer! ☀️😎🌴🍉

Ever wonder where all the missing hoodies, water bottles, and lunch boxes go? 👀

Well… they’ve been hanging out in our Lost & Found, starting a new life together. At this point, we’re pretty sure they’ve formed their own little community and elected a mayor.

If your child is missing anything (especially that “favorite” sweatshirt they suddenly can’t live without), now’s the time to come rescue it before it becomes a permanent resident!

You can stop by anytime between 8am-3pm. These will be held onto until Friday March 10th and then they will be donated to their new forever home.

🧥🧤🧢 Lost & Found: A Cry for Help 🧢🧤🧢

Pick me. Choose me. Love me. 😭

Somewhere out there, a jacket is cold… a glove is incomplete… and a water bottle is questioning all of its life choices. Meanwhile, our lost & found has officially become a support group for abandoned belongings.

Parents, please ask your students to do a quick “is this mine?” check on the bus as well before these items accept their fate. Our drivers will keep items on the bus for a few weeks before bringing them inside to our lost and found.

📅 Anything not claimed by 1/30/26 will be donated.

Don’t let your child’s hoodie start a new life without you. Reunions are beautiful. ❤️
