"I am excited to join the Wade Hampton staff and become part of such a great community. I look forward to serving as an ISS Aide and bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives to the position. Most importantly, I am excited to work alongside our staff to positively impact students and help prepare them for a successful school year and future.

I have been fortunate to have worked in a variety of careers across business and other industries. I also enjoy volunteering and serving organizations in several states and abroad. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, sports, hiking, walking, and seeking out new adventures.

Having lived in several regions of the country—including the Midwest, West Coast, and the South—I can confidently say that I love the Carolinas, especially Greenville, which I am proud to call home.

I am looking forward to a great school year and to meeting the entire Wade Hampton community!"

A dedication to excellence in AP coursework remains a proud, defining tradition at WHHS.

In May 2026, 467 WHHS students took a total of 782 AP exams. Nearly 87% of WHHS students who took an AP exam scored a 3 or higher, while the passage rate for all AP exams taken by WHHS students was 85%.

The tradition of AP excellence at Wade Hampton is a shared success, driven by the remarkable dedication of our students and the incredible expertise of our teachers.

Greenville County Schools HR Operations will host a job fair on Tuesday, July 28th at the CTE Innovation Center - 402 Roper Mountain Rd). This job fair will focus on hiring bus drivers, bus aides, custodians, food service operators and SPED classroom aides.

NEW Pay Rates…..Effective July 1, 2026:
Bus Driver $23.41 - $25.90
Bus Aide $17.15 - $18.86
Custodian $16.31 - $18.77
Food Service Operators $16.31 - $18.77
SPED Classroom Aides $20.00 - $23.50

We're excited to announce Gill Payne as our new Head Baseball Coach! Coach Payne joins us from Easley HS, bringing a passion for the game and a proven record of success building high school and college programs. Join us for his introduction on July 16 at 6:00 in the cafeteria.

We’re excited to welcome Jackson Kojima as our new Head Swim Coach! A former collegiate swimmer, Coach Kojima brings extensive coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels. Join us for a Meet & Greet on Tuesday, July 14, at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria.

It is time to schedule your senior photos with OHANA Studios!

Your senior photographs will be made at Wade Hampton High School on the following dates:
• Wednesday, August 5th
• Thursday, August 6th
• Tuesday, August 18th (1 pm – 3 pm)
• Wednesday, August 19th (1 pm – 3 pm)

There is a $30.00 sitting fee, which is paid when you sign up for your appointment online.

Your senior yearbook portrait session is ONLY for a yearbook photo with either a tux or drape.
