🎓 HBCU Off to College Sendoff 2026 🎓

Today, the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Coalition of Pitt County hosted its annual Off to College Sendoff. Although the summer heat moved the celebration indoors, it did not dampen the excitement or spirit of the day!

Future HBCU students, parents, alumni, and supporters spent the morning building connections, asking questions, sharing advice, and celebrating the next chapter in our students’ educational journeys. Each student also received gifts from their prospective colleges and universities as a token of encouragement and welcome.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a memorable success. Your support, encouragement, and commitment to our students demonstrate the strength of the HBCU community and the lasting impact of investing in the next generation of leaders.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are proud of you and wish you continued success as you begin this exciting new chapter. Go make your HBCU family proud! 💙❤️💛🖤
