Another great addition to our GCA team! Kirsten will be serving in our Secondary English department as well as our Drama/Speech program. So excited to have her on board! GCA family, meet Mrs. Jensen!

Hello! My name is Kirsten Jensen, and I’m from Midland, Michigan. I recently graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in English Education and a minor in Theatre. Before coming to Greenville Christian Academy, I completed my student teaching at J.L. Mann High School, where I taught high school English, and spent four summers working as a teacher at a summer day camp. I also substitute taught in middle and high school. I married my husband, Micah, this summer, and we are excited to start this new chapter in Greenville. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, baking with my husband, trying out new coffee shops, playing my five instruments, and anything Broadway-related. Growing up with a Christian school administrator/pastor/teacher in my home gave me a love for Christian education and ministry from a young age. I trusted Christ as my Savior in middle school, and I’m excited for the opportunity to teach, encourage, and disciple students at Greenville Christian Academy.

We are so excited to have a new addition to our team this year with Mrs. Chelsea White! She will be joining our elementary team in the 5th grade. Learn more about her here:

"I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned my bachelor's degree from Southeastern FWB College. I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age. However, it wasn't until I was in 9th grade that I truly surrendered my life to the Lord and rededicated my heart to following Him. This will be my third year teaching, and I have been blessed to teach 5th grade throughout my career. I recently married my husband, Dylan, this summer, and we are excited for this new season of life together. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the beach, shopping, and trying new coffee shops. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve at GCA and look forward to partnering with families as we help students grow academically and spiritually."
